The vast lush green land of Hokkaido is so fertile that produce great crops throughout the year. A wide variety of seafood is also available from the Japan Sea. Hokkaido has a high self-sufficiency rate for its regional produce brands. These products are very famous around the world thus calling Hokkaido as the Food Chamber of Japan.

“Charcoal-grilled King Crab of Okhotsk Sea”

King Crab is the most sorted cuisine when someone visits Hokkaido.

The seafood of the day was “Charcoal-grilled King Crab from Okhotsk Sea.” Grill the legs of carefully selected king crab that is thick and firm over a charcoal fire. By slowly roasting the whole shell over time, the crab itself is slowly steamed to perfection. The taste is condensed and the flesh is fluffy due to the infrared rays of the charcoal fire. It’s a simple cooking method, but requires skillful experience in order to bring out the best of the ingredients.

King Crab Leg is about 4cm in diameters with thick flesh and texture. The charcoal grilled King Crab is full of aroma and sweetness thus made it one of the famous cuisines of Hokkaido that you should not miss.

The pleasure of Teppanyaki is enjoying your meal while chatting with the chef right in front of you.
Tenderloin steak that is grilled to crisp and aromatic. You will be surprised how juicy and tender the meat is prepared for your taste buds.

“Dorayaki with Niseko Pumpkin Ice Cream”

Dessert can be prepared on Teppanyaki as well. The mixture of Dorayaki is grilled at Kaioh Restaurant which gives you a sweet aroma when you are near to it. Red beans and pumpkin ice cream are sandwiched between the hot grilled Dorayaki. The well blended ingredients that melts smoothly in your mouth is considered to be the grand finale of your full course dinner.
